Payday 2’s intense, fast-paced action demands environments that are instantly readable. I used light as a storytelling tool to draw players’ attention and shape their choices—whether it’s a brightly lit doorway inviting exploration, or a shadowed hallway hinting at a stealthier, more cautious path.
